I ought to have a fondness for MilSf - I certainly have read enough books about Starfleet officers and X-Wing pilots and Dendarii mercenaries - but so far every other series I've tried has left me flat. I don't think I've read any others that weren't very clearly Men's Books For Men, though, so I should probably give those a try.
