Yeah, I actually had several of them, but when Gor lost the poll way back at the start of this I went and got rid of the others, but it just feels like Gor is an essential part of my education in the history of the genre so I kept the first thinking I would read it real quick and then get rid of it.

....so far it just feels like a Barsoom ripoff with all the actually creative bits of Barsoom missing and extra daddy issues. There's quite a lot about the Priest-Kings, though! You mean they never become "plot"-relevant in the first one at all, after all that exposition? Wow.
