That sounds similar to what I can do with the LT offline apps! It's not really designed for comics (what I would REALLY like is something that can quickly tell me what I need to complete a run) but might be easier than a spreadsheet.

My individual-issue comics collection is not huge my any measure but is approaching respectably sized. :P Anyway it's now big enough I can't just go by memory.
