I love the meta stuff about historiography that got worked in! That was great. I would totally watch a musical that was just about Eliza Hamiltion blazing her way through the historical record. And there is something to be said for how Hamilton got smeared by generations of school history books while Jefferson was lionized, and why that was, and what that said about our country's priorities.

But, I mean, what the recent effort toward rehabilitation of Hamilton says is pretty much, "we need to make people love giant bank bailouts and economic neoliberalism" and. nope. I am not there for that.

And yeah, I could study up on it more, but I could also study Ida B. Wells or Zitkala-Sa instead, so.
