1. I have 2 transferrable 50% off Scrivener codes from winning CampNaNo (mostly with Hugo writeups, yay!) First two readers to claim them in comments get one each. They're good till December so if you want to claim one on spec that's fine, just if you decide not to use it pls make an effort to pass it on.

2. Oh, also, lost_library reveals hit while I was away! I transcribed the epilogue to A Pony of My Own, as published in Chrestomanci's home universe. I had to to a lot of world-walking and read a lot of terrible girls' horse books to find this, but I guess it was worth it. (I also had to re-read a bunch of the Chrestomanci novels. I remain desperately conflicted as to whether I like them or not.) Anyway, here:

3. RE: craft-and-movie nights from the last entry, here is an (incomplete) list of crafty-things I want to finish now that I am back from Pennsic:

1. file down and paint my new throwing knives
2. Ply the rainbow yarn I spun
3. Spin some more of my roving
4. Separate out the Icelandic fleece for spinning
5. Finish handsewing the undergown/chemise I started
6. Work out a tablet weaving pattern and make a strap for the felted bag I made
7. make a wire-weaving rig and weave some chains for my sca thingys
8. make a bottom-whirl spindle
9. find my flintknapping stuff! knap a thing!
10. make a sprang frame, do some actual sprang
11. Finish the dagging for the tent cover
12. make some skirts out of the plaids I didn't manage to give away

.... which does not even include all the other projects back in the craft room which you might get an inventory of, if I get around to tidying the craft room today.

4. Speaking of! The goal for today is to do ALL 30 of the 'habits' on my habit-rpg list! I have never managed that in one day before but I must have FAITH* that I can. So far it is noon and I have done 3!

*can you tell that some of the terrible horse books turned out to be stealth Christian inspirationals

I'm interested in a Scrivener code if I haven't already been beaten to it.

I can vouch for Scrivener being amazing, well worth the price. I have a few intro/tips videos, if anyone's interested. (Those "free learn-Scrivener-fast webinar" things that post their vids for a week after... I download them.)

I'd be interested! I bought Scrivener a few weeks ago and have been picking away at things, but the on-board tutorial isn't really clicking for me.

If you still have the second one and no takers, I could pass it along to my [dreamwidth.org profile] wildpear, who downloaded the trial version a few days ago and seems to be really liking it so far. (And if she didn't wind up wanting to buy it, I would certainly pass the code along to keep it from languishing.) But no worries if you'd rather give it to someone firsthand, not secondhand!
