Due South is awesome. Mom and I keep fighting over who technically owns the series on DVD because I bought it but she's managed to take posession of it at her house.
The music is one of the things that hooked me. I've always had a weakness for old seafaring songs and Due South has quite a few. One of my favorites, (32 Down on the) Robert MacKenzie was actually sung by Paul Gross for the show. And the duet of the Northwest Passage song that he and Ray sing when they're trapped in the crevasse is incredibly beautiful.
For once I have a fandom related icon!
