Oh! I think I see your trick now. You're composing the words! :O Whereas I compose the events and little snatches of dialogue, but it's very multimedia inside my head. So there's always translation into the written medium, whatever I'm writing. And I just have to get into a lot of detail and pin things down pretty exactly to make the whole thing hold together.

It sounds like creativity is pretty solitary for you; do you benefit at all from talking things out, or...?
