Well, I'm buying it from the Ten Thousand Villages outlet store in New Windsor that's on the same Mennonite/Brethren campus as the warehouse, and I think part of their "fair trade"-ness is that they're negotiating as directly as possible with the craftspeoples' groups to minimize markups. And what sells full price *does* have a direct effect on what they buy next round.
On the other hand, once it's been marked down that much, I'm pretty sure any decisions about whether to buy more from the craftspeople have already been made, and I *am* still reducing the loss they're taking. :P Plus I get nifty clothes dirt cheap so there's that.
