Gunn was a wizard until S5; his deal with Wolfram & Hart was giving up his wizardry and his knowledge of wizardry in exchange for his lawyer skills. This is part of why Buffy & co. are so horrified by the Wolfram & Hart deal. Lorne is and remains a wizard; he sticks it out with Angel & co. at Wolfram & Hart for as long as he does because he's convinced he can help Gunn find his wizardry again, but no matter how much he talks to Gunn about it, Gunn can't hear it; Wolfram & Hart's power makes sure of it.
Anne is a wizard; the Buffy S3 opener is her Ordeal. She and Gunn used to work together a fair bit. His subconscious memory of this is what draws him to spend his final day with her, prior to the NFA show-down.
