This entire thread is brilliant, and I am almost laughing too hard to nitpick, but I don't think Duv could have been in ImpSec yet during the Regency. ISTR him being a ten-year veteran and in his mid-thirties in Brothers in Arms, which would have him entering the Academy right around the time of Gregor's majority.
