I cannot tell you how hard I *dodge* Christian hagiography. I'm terrified to learn more than disconnected fragments; I'll start finding patterns--and then getting into arguments with devout people who really don't deserve to get dragged into fights on the internet with someone who doesn't care about the outcome but has a pet theory to promote. (I have enough other pet theories; I try to avoid collecting new ones about Christianity.)

Television used to be a lot of fun before VCRs destroyed it and all the production companies went bankrupt because they couldn't compete with the bootleg copies of shows. I sure miss the days when we had twelve whole channels of different shows to choose from.
