Yeah, I was thinking there might be some Rogue movieverse that would work, but the last time I went looking for old XMM fic I remembered I couldn't find any of the stories I wanted. D: I think X-men could still touch on the kink: they don't tend to be as big on compartmentalizing as some of the others, but the whole closeted metaphor with mutation, and the way they use codenames, could still be done that way, I think. (Also: Mystique.) But the people who are interested in that sort of thing seem to drift to other sections of comics fandom, which does make sense, because yeah, Tony and Matt and Peter (and pretty much all of the DCU) have much more blatant identity issues.
