I had thoughts along those lines, but I hadn't realized how marked it was until I was messing with something for the kinkmeme that required me to list out a bunch of the women of power, and I never got to the end of the list.

And yeah, I mean, it takes real effort, but slashers are willing to put in the effort! (Although even then, even the most myopic of the slash AUs at least give a few important nods to Bianca or Lea or Gard or somebody.)
