I have decided that all I am going to think about regarding Cryoburn is that while Dira was in the process of writing this fic, Cryoburn came out, and confirmed that Jole stayed with Aral his whole life and was a pallbearer beside his sons. Bujold gave them a happy ever after.

Bingo. *g* The series I had in mind ended at Mirror Dance, and then Cryoburn came out and ... suddenly there is a whole second arc to their story! I just have to not get distracted by anything shiny while I write the next seven stories.
