...well, did you read the latest yuletide thing on f_w? Basically, from my POV, that has come down, at its core, to anime/manga people saying "You media fandom people ignore non-media-fandom spaces! And you don't care about us!" and the media fandom people replying, "Yes, that is true. And?"

This is not the first time this wank has happened either, unfortunately. (This is not the first time that argument happened about this year's yuletide, in fact.)
