Sure, but that's not a genre, it's just a set-up! Do you have a genre in mind? Because granted the set-up kind of calls out for either depressing litfic about a white woman finding inner strength and learning about the postcolonialism and/or the futility of war, or for a rousing adventure story in the tradition of Robin Hood and Zorro, but knowing me I'm just as likely to come up with a noir-ish murder mystery or something magical realist involving a retelling of the the Popul Vuh or a black comedy where all her former co-workers find it impossible to cope and end up joining her in the revolution. So a genre would be good.
(Also, okay, I know only the very basics about S&A. I assume this is the relevant bit? "Oh, Anna is finally taking a vacation, in Bolivia. Well, apparently there's some kind of counter-revolution going on but I'm told that Anna has taken up with the leader of the revolutionaries." Can I ask: Why Bolivia? Because that's not really an area I would associate with violent regime change lately. In which case I'd be tempted to interpret "revolutionary" rather broadly...)
