It's true, MCR are made up of 60% genius and 40% embarrassment squick. But they also have this weird thing where they can almost transcend the embarrassment squick, like they themselves know they should be embarrassed (whereas mostly my embarrassment squick is tripped by people who either aren't aware they're in an embarrassing situation or by people who *are* embarrassed) and they don't care, they just go on being completely ridiculous and it all works out.

. . . although you know who almost always trips my embarrassment squick, is the person who is doing the interview, because people ask some truly stupid things.

I need to get on my project of replacing the music in MCR videos with other songs. But it's, like, Britney and Pink, so maybe that wouldn't work for you either.
