good thing I have a new shelf.
This holiday weekend I'm thankful for:
1. Huge giant used bookstores having everything-$1-moving sales;
2. Older sisters who can be tempted into driving me all the way there. and then buying half the books for me.
(Also the miracle of cats. And long walks in the rain. And good food. And sitting at Pop-pop's kitchen table listening again to the story about the time he was on the jury that acquitted Nancy Pelosi's brother of murder.
But mostly, books!)
