I might have 50,000 words if you add up all four years' worth...

...no, probably not.

Notes: Only the first three story options would actually qualify under NaNoWriMo rules. Also, I make no promises as to what I actually end up writing. :P

I vote Gaiman.

Gaiman .. fanfic? Let's see, there's the one where Dumbledore meets the Marquis, the one where Door and Richard go visit the angel Heurtebise in Paris, the one with giant rats and Baltimore Below

... all my Gaiman ideas these days are Neverwhere based. And I don't even have a copy of Neverwhere.

(The urban fantasy, I fear, would end up closer to LKH than gNeil. Although I could hope...)

um, homework... b/c it should be said.

but i voted for the space opera. I'm curious about the psychic jellyfish. I'm not big on star-faring stuff, but psychic polyp-based creatures are my weakness.

second choice? Fanfiction. ;)

but please stay away from Vampires. Unless you intend to mock them. Then, please do it creatively, but do carry on.

and if you don't post it on LJ, i'll prolly never see it. so. yes. LJ.

I scored you another used broken laptop if you want it! It works fine, actually, except the LCD is half dead, so you'd have to content yourself with half a screen or hook it up to second monitor.

Are you coming over this weekend?

The vampire in question is a converted Christian and by the end of the story refuses to drink anything but Communion wine. (I'm not sure if that's mockery or not, and in that case, who exactly I'm mocking, but at least I've never seen it done before...)

Polyps! I love polyps. These ones touch with their noodly appendages, too.

Just what we need! Another broken monitor! We already have only one (semi-) working monitor between three desktops computers... I wonder how hard it would be to hook up to one of my other laptops' monitors ... what sort of laptop is it, and does it have wireless?

I was thinking about it. Mom's going to Pop-pop's, so it's either drop by your place and do homework, or have a wild party while she's gone. I haven't decided yet. I'd probably drive an actual car there, though (*gasp*) and it wouldn't be till Friday evening 'cause I need the money.

It's an hp. I don't know how old exactly, but not terribly so. It's running xp. Supposedly it has wireless, but I haven't tried it out, though E said if it wasn't working she might have another card lying around somewhere for it. Maybe I'll try it tonight.

You guys should scarf up some cheap monitors from thrift stores, or something. And possibly you could hook it up to a tv?

Friday is tomorrow! Feel free to stop by. Though you might have to go grocery shopping with me again. You'd try to drive across on the ferry, I'm assuming?

And also it has on the order of ten billion mp3s and videos on it. :D

Owright! I'll head down there after I get out of class (around 2:30), with possibly a stop at UMD for library-ing on the way, and taking the scenic route. But leave a key under the mat just in case I get there quicker than I expect?

Ok! Don't you/Mom have a copy of the key, though?

Oh on investigation the hp laptop wireless does NOT appear to exist. It does have card slots. I will enquire about it, but in the meantime you might want to steal a card from one of your Toshibas. Or you can borrow a cable cord. d-:

Well, okay. It is under the mat. It creates rather a bulge. When I get home either IT or YOU had better be there!!
