Quantico was a large complex, just south of the District of Columbia, where pathologists were highly respected and the number five was fashionable. The politics were unremarkable. The agents kept their badges brightly polished mainly for show-- it was rare that they actually went out in the field. There were the usual problems with disturbed profilers and agents protected by their parents' influence, but they were always the sort of thing that could be cleared up by finding the proper partner for the unfortunate agent a few years later. All in all, Quantico was a very orderly and pleasant place.

Scully hated it.
