The spelling bee was awesome.

I call them pirate braids for no particular reason. Think a couple dozen very small and very scruffy braids. If I leave them in long enough they turn into dreadlocks. And I have a bunch of old foreign coins made into charms, so, I thought, Why not? There's nothing cooler than Canadian pirates.

Last summer I had bells in. :D
