Dude,
metafandom=crack. And I don't know why I feel fine leaving long, overshary comments on posts linked from there, yet get overcome by horrible shyness when attempting to leave a "hope things get better" or "love the fic!" comment on the journal of somebody I actually *know*. Except I do know why, and it's this thing I have where I want relationships to be *defined*. And. Yeah. Reading the Wise Old Owl poem too many times on classroom walls.
Visited home today. ( And I love my family. )
And Mom gave me a letter which came to the house for me last week. And it was one of the poetry journals I submitted to for class a year ago finally getting back to me. And now I'm happy-yet-confused. Because it's a very small journal, and I got back a two-page, *hand-written* note in which was written that they really liked my poems, even though some of them had a few problems, and they were looking forward to hearing back from me, and I can't tell whether it's an acceptance or a rejection! I'm so confused. And I can't go tell Laura at the writer's house because the scary lit mag people will just ambush me again and tell me to submit. But I now have twice as many letters to stick on my be-a-real-writer progress spike, so yay!
