Well, thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! Now I get to feel guilty about not doing it for any of you.

I celebrated by completely redoing my lj info page.

Oh, and by going with

dreamsquirrel to see Four Shillings Short at The New Deal Cafe and letting him buy me a coke. Fun. Good music. Gratuitous crumhorns.

And I went ahead and spent my Christmas money on cartoons and comic books, per

stellar_dust's orders: Batman: The Animated Series vol 2, DC : The New Frontier vol 2, and Seven Peaches, which should land on Mom's doorstep by the end of the month, assuming Amazon doesn't completely screw up my order. Again.

And I read another couple stanzas of The Zombie Saga, which is a) hilarious and b) the perfect epic poem for the new millenium. There needs to be a whole genre of these. Because, c'mon! Thoroughly modern and unpretentious epic poetry! Like rap, only geekier!
