There are several things I marked as original that *are* on the AO3 - among some of the more highly-read things on AO3 - and I think should stay there, even if AO3 stays fanfic-only. (There's also at least one thing I marked as fanfic that I don't think I do want on AO3.) So, yes, clearly complicated.
