They went to Muscae IV to hang out with their cousins the ;At, of course. (Or possibly they were the ;At - they tend to be somewhat unclear on this.) They managed to bring quite a few of the Vulcans with them, eventually, a few timelines more or less. The Vulcans' interactions with Muscae's other intelligent races were, well, as one of the Vulcans put it, "Highly intriguing."
